The titles of extant romance novels are recycled into short
love poems. Includes an appendix of the titles perused.
The cover image is adapted from an illustration in an interior
design book. A woman is portrayed in a cocktail dress and
pearls as if ready to go out, but a book is her date for the
evening. I recreated the domestic environment in the gallery,
styled myself in the persona of the woman, and performed a
reading of the book as if to reproduce her experience.
